V Line Sound Range:
The V Line loudspeakers are pure line source designs that radiate acoustic energy in a 90 degree (horizontal) and 15 degree (vertical) ‘cheese wedge’ pattern. The best results are achieved by mounting the speakers at ear level for best audience coverage, which means they are ideal for ‘flat floor’ audience coverage both indoors and outdoors.
V Line Sound Series:
Using the latest technology and design, the powerful V-Line range features HPLS and MPLS models which are both compact and lightweight. The new speakers have low frequency enclosures.
The HPLS line source loudspeakers are designed for high power mid/high frequency applications and require separate low frequency loudspeakers to cover the frequency range 35-125Hz.
The MPLS range is designed both for medium power, full range applications, and also for higher power use with separate low frequency loudspeakers.
Typical Large Floor Area Installation:
For indoor/outdoor large area coverage a typical installation with the capability to cover audience sizes of 1000-1500 persons would use two loudspeaker stacks, each using four 2x18PP bass loudspeakers using an HPLS6 for high power mid/high frequency main audience coverage and an additional pair of MPLS 6 loudspeakers to provide good front area coverage.
The loudspeaker load impedances have been arranged to allow the MPLS 6 units to be connected directly to the HPLS 6 loudspeakers on each stack in order to present a comfortable 4 ohm load to the Mid/High power amplifier.
The drive requirement for this arrangement is four stereo 2.5kw/channel bass power amplifiers and 1 stereo 1.5kw/channel power amplifier for mid/high frequencies. The amplifiers should be driven by the Logic Systems limiter/crossover unit to give a simple and elegant amplifier drive system.

V Line SOUND RANGE:
All of the HPLS & MPLS loudspeaker models have desirable performance properties for installation use. They have beneficial performance attributes for use in difficult high reverberation environments. The speakers need to be positioned to ensure that their ‘cheese wedge’ radiation pattern covers the audience areas correctly.
The HPLS range of line source loudspeakers are designed for high power mid/high frequency applications and require separate low frequency loudspeakers to cover the frequency range 35-125Hz.
